Youthful and fragrant, the attractive bouquet shows stone fruit, lemon, lime zest and subtle herbaceous characters. The palate is lively and juicy, and offers lovely fruit intensity backed by bright acidity. Varietally expressive and highly enjoyable.

(EN) Bright, clean greenish yellow. Intense mineral nose recalling white flowers. Elegant and very fresh palate with a citrusy touch of lime and grapefruit along with pineapple. Medium body and persistant.

Ideaal with fish and seafood like lobster, shrimp and scallops with light sauces.

Colour: Very pale straw

Nose: Fruits instantly arise ever so effortlessly - guava, lychee, green mango. Followed by (theorised) barrel fermentationinduced nougat, and wafts of freshly-baked apple galette. And to sign-off, whilst there is acknowledgement of a whiff of cordite (lees-derived?), no oak registers….

Palate: The generosity promised on the nose is certainly delivered on the palate. A beguiling creamy texture energised by fresh, chalky acidity. Flavours of honeydew and tangelo fruits merge with those of slithered pistachio, cashew. Refreshing. Inviting

Showing beautiful sour cherries, ripe currants, aniseed with notes of white pepper, vanilla pod, forest floor and tea leaf. Complex, medium bodied and layered blend with smooth well integrated tannin structure. Well rounded with a long elegant finish on aftertaste.

FOOD PAIRING One could drink the Heirloom Red with practically anything from charcuterie to cheese - roast chicken, pork belly, lamb meatballs, garlicky sausages, grilled lamb and even turkey. Serve between 16 - 18°C for best results.

Piekenierskloof Grenache Rosé werd zorgvuldig samengesteld met een overvloed aan sappige aardbeien, heerlijke kersen en frambozen smaken. Een subtiele ondertoon van rozenbladen levert een verrassend heerlijk ervaring in de mond.  

Heerlijk met salades, ligte pasta en rijst gerechten. Lekker bij vis en zeevruchten (sushi, ligt gebakken zeevruchten, gegrilde vis gerechten) en geitenkaas. Perfect te genieten bij warm weer.
Serveer tussen 7 – 9°C.

Onze elegante Pinotage, de meest typische druivensoort uit de West-Kaap, heeft een neus van rijpe pruimen en moerbei en verleidt met zijn zachte en fruitige smaak. Om van te genieten met rood vlees, pasta’s en kruidige gerechten.

Moncagua Malbec boats an attractive bright ruby colour. The aroma is intense and fresh with hints of wild berries. Good body and pleasant wine with a fruity character and a well-balanced finish.

Lots of beautiful blackberry, sweet dark fruit and Christmas cake spice on the palate with hints of cloves, aniseed and smokiness. Well balanced with elegant integrated tannins on a mouth filling, smooth long finish.

FOOD PAIRING The elegant spice of this Grenache makes it a perfect pairing to spiced and herb foods including roasted /grilled meats, lamb shank, duck breast, sausage, vegetables, tapas and many ethnic foods.
Serve between 10 -12°C for best results.
