Q-Clay begins among the rows in the micro-terroir in Marchigue. The shallow clay and granitic soils formed during the Quaternary period of Chile’s Coastal Range lend special characteristics to the vineyard. Soils with good drainage, high porosity, and moderate fertility in conjunction with the specific morphology and coastally influence climate produce our best wines.

Tasting Notes
Deep, intense red with violet tones. Intense nose with aromas of ripe red fruits intermingled with a light touch of oak and berry liqueur. Broad, lush, and silky palate with juicy tannins and balanced acidity that lends freshness and intensity to the persistent finish.
Food Pairing
Ideal with roasted lamb, hearty red meats such as short ribs, skirt steak, and pork ribs. Pairs well with stuffed pastas, such as cannelloni and lasagna. Serve at 17ºC/63ºF.
